Kate is an engagement and social sustainability professional specialising in the built environment, with almost ten years’ experience across Australia.

Her experience spans community development, communications, engagement and social planning, working in-house for organisations including the Western Australian Department of Transport, Rail Projects Victoria, inner-Melbourne councils, and has taught at the University of Melbourne. 

Since joining Ethos Urban in 2022, Kate has delivered projects in Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria, working with state and local government, and private sector clients. 

Kate is passionate about creating healthier, more equitable, convenient, and stimulating cities. She has a Bachelor of Arts in communications and sociology with Honours (Monash University), a Master of Urban Planning (The University of Melbourne), and is an IAP2 certified engagement practitioner.

Kate was appointed to the Property Council of Australia QLD Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee for 2025/26. This Committee focuses on leading conversations in the property industry that promote diversity and inclusion. The committee champions and informs the diversity and inclusion event program, as well as identifying and supporting specific networking, learning and thought leadership opportunities.
