Ethos Urban, along with project partners Jacobs and Arcadis, was appointed the successful tender team for the provision of planning approval services for the Sydney Metro West project.
Connecting the Parramatta and Sydney central business districts, this once-in-a-century infrastructure investment will transform Sydney for generations to come, doubling rail capacity between these two areas, linking new communities to rail services, and unlocking housing supply and employment growth between the two CBDs.
The team will provide several services including preparing the planning approvals documentation for a concept state significant infrastructure (SSI) application for the proposed metro route, station locations and associated servicing infrastructure and the Stage 1 project approval for the tunnelling and station construction.
Ethos Urban, as part of the project team, will provide planning services in the drafting of EIS documentation, prepare business and social impact assessments and co-ordinate community engagement.
