Morgan is an accomplished planner with over a decade of experience in strategic and statutory planning across the public and private sectors. Morgan has held senior planner positions in strategic planning and development assessment within the public and private sectors across multiple jurisdictions including Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and the ACT.

Morgan is experienced in development compliance, policy drafting, strategic land use investigation, community consultation, development assessment, application preparation, project management, process improvement and development infrastructure review.

Morgan has been instrumental in delivering innovative planning solutions across various sectors, with a notable focus on renewable energy.

Key project experience includes:

  • Renewables: Provided development applications and advisory services for large-scale solar projects, including:
    • Kilcoy Solar Farm (1,500MW)
    • Longreach Solar Farm
    • Rugby Run Solar Farm
    • Dysart Solar Farm
  • Planning Scheme Drafting: Contributed to planning schemes for Cairns, Ipswich, Gold Coast, Gympie, Longreach, Isaac Regional Council, and Southern Downs.
  • Development Assessment: Acted as an assessment manager for local councils, including Brisbane City Council, Central Highlands, City of Gold Coast, and others
  • Master Plans and Variations: Provided advisory services for major projects such as Foreshore Coomera and Gainsborough Greens in Pimpama.
  • Industrial and Logistics: Advised on projects for distribution centers, warehouses, and storage facilities for clients such as Charter Hall and Abacus.
  • Utilities: Supported development applications for sewer pump stations, reservoirs, and resource recovery systems for clients like Urban Utilities and Fulton Hogan.
