Stefan is Ethos Urban’s National Design Lead and an expert in precinct planning.

Through his studies at the London School of Economics’ Cities research centre and his work with the multi-disciplinary team at Ethos Urban, he has developed his design thinking founded in an understanding of the whole picture which includes the importance of politics, project or precinct governance, economic and planning context, programmatic and social outcomes. One of his core skills is to be able to translate these multi-directional and often competing drivers into exceptional place outcomes.

Stefan is currently working on city shaping projects across the east coast of Australia. He is a regular presenter at the UDIA’s Placemaking seminar and a Jury member of the AIA’s Christopher Procter Prize. He is also on the Design Excellence Panel at Northern Beaches Council and Campbelltown City Council.

Stefan was appointed to the Property Council of Australia NSW Precincts and Social Infrastructure Committee for 2025/26. This Committee represents the interests of the property industry in precinct and innovation district promotion and formation, and its intersection with all levels of the education sector, health sector and metro precincts and identification of challenges and barriers to growth.
