RNA Pilot Research and Manufacturing Facility
Health Infrastructure is planning for the new RNA Research and Pilot Manufacturing Facility that will enable research, development and production of a broad spectrum of RNA technologies locally in NSW.
This unique facility will undertake significant health research and manufacture potential RNA therapeutics (including, but not limited to, vaccines) and will translate research into a sustainable commercial pipeline of RNA therapeutics and products.
Ethos provided town planning advice and prepared a state significant development application, social impact assessment and engagement services. Ethos Urban navigated the Concept Plan that guides development growth at Macquarie University and worked with stakeholders to ensure the project achieved its milestones.
The new facility strengthens the strategic role of Macquarie University as a collaborative health and education precinct. It will also facilitate the development of a new state-of-the-art health research facility which will further support scientific research and strengthen the development of RNA technology, vaccines and other medical therapeutics.
