Henry is an Associate Director at Ethos Urban with more than 10 years’ experience of statutory and strategic planning across both consulting and local government roles. He holds a Masters of Public Policy and Management and a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning.
His broad experience enables him to develop thorough and outcome focused solutions for projects across all sectors. He is skilled in providing valuable due diligence and planning approval pathway advice.
His understanding of local and state government organisations enables him to effectively manage strategic and statutory planning approval processes across a wide variety of complex proposal types.
Henry has extensive experience in large scale precinct planning in the peri-urban, urban renewal and industrial contexts. This included the preparation of Precinct Structure Plans (PSP’s), Development Contributions Plans (DCP’s) and specific built form planning controls.
Henry is a member of the Urban Development Institute of Australia Regional Committee (Bendigo Chapter). He is passionate about the potential of the regions and the communities that make them. He is committed to contributing to best practice planning outcomes for all communities in regional areas. Henry has successfully appeared before VCAT and Planning Panels Victoria in addition to effectively negotiating positive outcomes through the compulsory conference process. He has also assisted in preparing a range of expert evidence statements that have been presented before VCAT and Planning Panels Victoria.
