The Frasers Solar Farm is a 110-hectare renewable energy project in the Latrobe Valley. Ethos Urban was engaged by South Energy to prepare the Economic Impact Assessment to support planning approval.
Frasers Solar Farm is a 75 MW solar farm to be located near Glengarry in the Latrobe Valley, Victoria.
Ethos Urban prepared an Economic Impact Assessment as part of the successful State planning approval process for the project. The proposed facility is predicted to generate enough clean energy to supply approximately 29,000 homes with clean renewable energy.
This development will assist Australia in reducing carbon dioxide emissions by roughly the equivalent of 154,000 tonnes per year and support a transition towards a more sustainable economy in the Latrobe Valley.
The project has obtained planning approval and is envisaged to commence construction in 2024/25 and be fully operational in 2026. The project is expected to stimulate growth of new businesses, employers, skills and training providers in industries with a promising and sustainable future.
